Reconstructing a broken software RAID5

Licensing requirement
You need File Scavenger® 3 with the Professional-Use license.
RAID settings
You need to know the following settings:
Reconstruction procedure
- Start File Scavenger. Select Quick Search. Click Advanced.
- Select Striped Volume, With parity. Choose the number of disks.
- Select Software-based. Select either the Windows NT or Windows 2000/2003
parity rotation scheme.
Click OK.
- Select the disks in the correct order. For each disk, specify the First Sector value and click
Add.
Click OK after all disks have been selected.
- Choose the 64 KB Block Size and click OK.
Note that Network Attached Storage (NAS) servers based on Windows may be modified by vendors to use a different block size.
Use the Long Search if the Quick Search does not succeed.
